FAQ

When is The Big Tent?

November 20 and 21, 2026. Friday is the conference, Saturday is the celebration.

Where is it?

We'll be taking over all three floors of Mox, a research-focused incubator & community space for doers of good and masters of craft located at 1680 Mission Street, San Francisco.

Do I need an AI safety background?

No. This is an introductory conference and beginners are welcome. Bring a curious mind.

Can I propose a session?

Absolutely. Pitch a topic and start a conversation.

What is the difference between a one-day and a two-day ticket?

A two-day ticket covers both Friday and Saturday. A one-day ticket covers whichever single day you choose to attend, and you do not need to tell us which in advance.

Refunds?

Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable.

Financial assistance?

Ticket prices are already heavily subsidized and sit well below what it costs us to run the weekend. If the price is still a barrier, consider applying for a BlueDot rapid grant.

Kids?

Children are welcome. Onsite childcare may be available depending on demand.

Volunteering?

Tell us you are interested here.

See you at The Big Tent.
